Controlling the Distribution Group managedBy Attribute or Who Wants All These Emails?

Most of you probably know the ‘owner’ of a distribution group displayed in Outlook, Outlook Web App, and Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC) is the managedBy attribute. What you may not know is that the managedBy attribute is a singled valued attribute. A Distribution Group can have multiple owners so where are the rest? Outlook 2016 Password Prompts for Profile Creation – UPDATED 6-20-19

UPDATE: It appears there is a workaround for this issue if you are willing to live with the restrictions. The Outlook 2016 authentication issue seems to be a change in the profile creation Wizard. The zeroConfigExchange registry value eliminates the Wizard. Bypass the Wizard and it just creates the profile and opens the mailbox. The limitation: Because it disables the Wizard, you cannot create an additional profile or a profile for any other email account but your own.
